Nickoletta "Nicky" Antoniou (nee Conis) fell asleep in the Lord, July 29, 2017, leaving this life to await the Resurrection of the dead and life in the ages to come. She will be remembered for her dedication to her family and The Greek Community and her never ending generosity to all of those she touched. Born in Perry, Iowa on August 6, 1945, of Sam and Bessie Conis. Preceded in death by her husband, Christos, mother and father, brother, Steve and uncle and aunt John and Nicky Kaperonis.

Nicky is survived by her loving children, daughter Vanessa Antoniou; son Thomas (Ann Koster) Antoniou and their children Christos and Charlie all of St. Louis; daughter Bessie (Don) Conty and their children C.J. and Vanessa, all of Denver, Colorado; and daughter Pamela (Mark) Brennan and their children Christian and Colette, all of Ladue, MO. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Peter (Linda) Conis of Boulder, CO, Elaine Palmer of Tarpon Springs, FL, John Conis of CO, Homer (Patricia) Conis of CO, Tom Conis of CO, Sam Conis of St. Louis and Jeannie Kayne of Aspen, CO, along with numerous nieces, nephews, Godchildren and countless friends. Nicky was passionate about her family, church, the Greek Orthodox Community of St. Nicholas, and the Family Life Center in Town and Country, MO

Nicky had an entrepreneurial spirit with many achievements, including owning and operating the Greek Gourmet restaurant for over twenty years, being the heart and soul of the St. Nicholas Greek Festival for many years and being the driving force behind the establishment of the St. Nicholas Family Life Center. She always proudly announced that her biggest achievement was her children and grandchildren.

An active and devoted member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, she generously offered her time, stewardship and services in many capacities including serving as the President of the Parish Council, President of the Philoptochos Society, Co-Chairperson of the Long Range Anniversary Committee, Chairperson of the St. Nicholas Greek Festival, Diocesan Philoptochos Board Member, Archdiocesan Philoptochos Board Member and Principal of the Greek School. She lovingly decorated the church and alter for feast days, organized and catered parish luncheons and benefits. Nicky remained the back bone of parish life of the Greek Orthodox community of St. Louis, Missouri until her death.

The Funeral Services will be celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Tarasios from Buenos Aires and the Rev. Fr. Doug Papulis and Father Michael Arbanas, co-officiating.

Visitation on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the St. Nicholas Family Life Center, 12550 South 40 Drive, Town and Country, Missouri 63141. The Trisagion will be held at 7:00 p.m. following visitation. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10:00 am at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 4967 Forest Park Blvd. in St. Louis, Missouri. Interment to follow at St. Matthews Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Nicholas Family Life Center Capital Campaign, 12550 South 40 Drive, Town and Country, Missouri 63141.
